Terms and Conditions – Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Classes

1. Eligibility and Health Requirements

1.1. All participants must complete a Health & Consent Form prior to attending any class.

1.2. Pregnancy Yoga: Classes are suitable from 14 weeks (2nd trimester) onwards unless otherwise advised by a medical professional. A signed medical clearance may be requested.

1.3. Postnatal Yoga: Participants must wait a minimum of 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8 weeks after a cesarean section and receive clearance from their GP, midwife, or health visitor before attending.

1.4. It is the responsibility of the participant to inform the instructor of any changes in their health or pregnancy status before each class.

1.5. Participants with specific medical conditions, injuries, complications, or high-risk pregnancies must consult their healthcare provider before participating and may be required to provide written medical clearance.


2. Booking, Payment, and Cancellations

2.1. All classes must be booked in advance through our booking system or as instructed.

2.2. Payments must be made prior to the class or course start date. Your space is not guaranteed until payment is received.

2.3. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class start time may be rescheduled.

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before the class are non-refundable and non-transferable unless due to medical emergency (proof may be requested).

2.4. In the event of instructor illness, emergency, or low bookings, the provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class. Participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.


3. Class Conduct and Responsibility

3.1. All participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during classes.

3.2. The instructor reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual if there are concerns about their health, behavior, or fitness to participate safely.

3.3. Babies are welcome in mum and baby postnatal yoga classes; however, participants are responsible for their child’s safety and well-being at all times.


4. Liability and Waiver

4.1. By participating, you acknowledge that yoga involves physical movement and that risk of injury, though minimal, is present. You participate entirely at your own risk.

4.2. The instructor is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation unless caused by proven negligence.

4.3. You agree to follow all safety instructions and take full responsibility for your own health and actions during the classes.


5. Personal Belongings

5.1. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the class.


6. Media and Privacy

6.1. From time to time, we may take photos or videos during class for marketing purposes. Consent will be requested beforehand.

6.2. Any personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.


7. Agreement

By booking or attending a class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
